Tales of George
After the idea was bounced around for a while, Tales of George officially formed in September 2009 in the sleepy seaside resort of Bognor Regis on the south coast. Long time friends Dan Simons and Terence Wing met bass player James Langridge through mutual friends, and after a trip to Bennicassim festival in 2009 it was decided that the trio would set about writing their own songs and start gigging.Recording their first demo within a month, the band started building up a good local following at their gigs. After footage from these local gigs was pieced together and stuck on youtube the lads realised they were building up a good internet following. With a string of gigs under their belt including a 350 strong crowd packing out the Mud Club, local radio plays and a more demos recorded, TOG have found their feet in a punkier style.
From Bognor, the band are now looking to hopefully be heard nationwide and hope many will enjoy what they hear !

Hippys On The Hill
Hippys On The Hill are fast becoming one the best live bands currently gigging in Liverpool and their debut release should propel them to even greater heights. Not taking the common route of pop music that has become all too familiar, Hippys On The Hill write pure rock songs, with vocals that stand up to most lead singers who have plied their trade far longer and never sounded this good. With brilliant lead guitars throughout giving their songs energy, bass and drums as tight and as powerful as you want from a rock band, these young but gifted musicians will be around for a long time to come.

Sour Mash
Sour Mash | MySpace Music Videos
Sourmash: Perfectly blended select bourbons mixed to make Jack Daniels. Aces. Sourmash: Perfectly blended tastes and influences brought together to create the music we love playing. Original. Ever changing. Funky to death. True believers that nothing exceeds like excess, nothing fails without lacking, nothing triumphs without failure, and nothing truly worth having comes easy. But for our failures, this is hard worked, hard played, honest to all soul baring music. Live performances grasp tight and put all hearts on sleeves. So charge your glasses, roll up, rack up or do whatever it is you need to do to feel connected; breathe deep, hold close and enjoy. “Pass that bottle over here…”

Randolf’s Party
Once upon a time there was a world, a world where people lived and breathed. They ran around there lives not knowing what would be, would be. A young man met a respectable young woman of noble birth and fell in love. He had never fallen for anyone before, but this particular day on a bus that was bound for Crossens his eyes were transfixed with wonder. He asked if he may walk her home, she obliged and from that day on they were as one.
After many years they begat a young boy and named him Mark. From an early age Mark loved music and would go on to form a band with three other people. This band was a band of men. Men strong of heart with a vision of creating popular music for the masses. These young men were named Anthony Lennon, Sean Benedict McCharmley and Simon Maher, together known as The Four.

Hey – Great Lineup , just one small criticism . There are no young local bands included .
We went to Manor Farm Fest at Hesketh Bank last week , and there were about six bands that would have done a great job here .

Steve , Yeah , cant grumble at the quality of the acts – Hippys are a great band – but do you call Wallasea local ?? . Same with Major Major – Liverpool … When i say local , I`m talking Southport area …If this festival was in Liverpool , anyone not coming from a Liverpool post code area would have no chance…just my opinion … should be a great day , anyway …

Hi Hippo.
I accept your comments and Sour Mash, Hippys on the Hill, Matt Belcher are from Southport so i think we have ticked all the boxes with regards to Southport area bands as well as ‘local’ and further afield.
Make sure you guys get in touch earlier next year and if your music, style and genre fit the bill then we can take it to the next level of discussion?
In the meantime the Jedi Festival wishes you great success with your band/sound and hope to see you there on Sunday to support this charity event??
Regards,
Steve and all from the Jedi Team.

Little Wing are an awesome duo and boast one of the best guitarists around in Adrian Guautrey, i also can’t find them on the line up but have been told by many that they are on in a tent?
Is there a timetable available as to what times each band is on at ?
